Steam Academy

I was recently commissioned by ISG construction to photograph the architecture at the state of the art Bridgend based STEAM Academy which is an exciting new building to accommodate teaching, learning and support facilities for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

The Academy is a flagship for showcasing 21st century teaching in the automotive Industry bringing economic and cultural growth to the Bridgend County Borough area. This is in line with a bid to develop further employment and training opportunities in the region, in keeping with Welsh Government’s strategic priorities.

Situated at the Pencoed Campus in Bridgend the Academy has parking for students and staff, as well as an external service yard adjacent to the new Engineering workshops.

Grand Designs

In these challenging times and during another lockdown. It’s such a highlight and very exciting to be featured in the November issue of Grand Designs Magazine 2020. This house is a tech marvel with the very latest intergrated technology and smart controls installed in every room. Although you would never know it as the owners didn’t want any tech to be visable.

The shoot took place in Cobham, Surrey back in February then the pandemic hit and we had an extended break where no GD magazine was printed until September of 2020.

The feature is the story of how the Kings renovated their dilapidated 1930’s property.
